Why Hydroseed?

Hydroseeding is a fast, efficient, and cost-effective way to seed any project, regardless of size. Some of the many benefits of hydroseeding include:

  • A nutrient-rich growing medium that yields higher germination

  • Wind and water erosion are reduced by forming a mat over the sprayed area

  • Less moisture evaporation from the soil, which provides seeds protection from the sun

  • Uniform distribution of the product over the sprayed area

  • Results are typically seen in 7-10 days

  • A fast and easy alternative to sod at a fraction of the price

  • Custom mixes for each site

  • Contains no weed seed, unlike hay

  • No netting or hay to remove

Hydroseeding

Hydroseeding mixes seed, fertilizer, mulch, tackifiers, and amendments with water to form a slurry sprayed onto a prepared seedbed to establish vegetation and control erosion.

Products are specifically blended for each project using a hydraulic agitation system and then sprayed uniformly over the prepared seedbed.

Erosion Control

Erosion control is the practice of preventing or controlling wind or water erosion of disturbed earth resulting from land development, agriculture, or extreme rainfall events.

Effective erosion controls manage surface runoff and help prevent water pollution, soil loss, habitat loss for wildlife, and property damage.
